This is only a test!

Had the most interesting ride through the city today. Only meant to go from the 100’s to maybe 60th str., bottom of Central Park, but when I am on my bike. That just sometimes don’t happen, quick rides. It had been grey overcast, and suppose to rain. I had felt a few drops. Please don’t start was what I was thinking. Now that I am already around the 50’s.
Still getting back into cycling, now that the weather is breaking more into nicer Spring/Summer weather. I usually only go to East Houston then start my way back to Harlem. I ended up in Chinatown and still feeling fresh. Next started my tour back uptown on the East Side with a quick stop to 8Bit & Up video game store on Saint Marks(8th str).
Here is where the fun part happens. I am on East 14th str. headed west. Around 5th Ave, I noticed this female on her bike. Wearing some tye-dye leggings, a long tank-top, and cool black/red 2-tone helmet. It was a busy turn going uptown on 5th Ave. She got tangled up in some cars making lazy turns. I made it through a lot smoother than her. When I looked back, I could not see her eyes through her black shades. So I kept peddling on my way.
Soon I noticed she was keeping up with me. Switching leads between lights. At one point, still wearing the black shades, looked over at me to smile. I smiled back because I’m a nice guy. Why not? She was cute and being an active female. Thought nothing to much of it. I keep cycling away. Then at one point she had taken the shades off, and worked some questions to start up a chat with me.
We all know me, I can be a little slow when a female wants to talk, because I am usually thinking about work. Now we can are talking and biking in and out of traffic. I asked her “Are you was following me?” Because I have really dumb jokes like that. She said “No. I off at 54th str.”
That really didn’t matter to much because she had started this little sweet connection of riding and chatting with me. Plus I could tell that I was giving her a work out. Her face was sweating more than mine. So she gave me her business card, and good thing I had some of mine own in my wallet as well. Gave her one of mine. Told her, ” It’s was nice to meet you!” and she returned with “Same to you!”
- This was a easy-going wonderful to connection. Glad out I went out to be active with a chance of rain. The day ended sweet and sunny!!!
